My son had the opportunity to do summer tutoring with Allison Doering before entering her fifth grade homeroom at BCD.  We primarily focused on his areas of learning differences which are fluency and writing. She was extremely knowledgeable, prepared and thorough as they constructed writing maps and stories. He continued to show impressive progress with her throughout the school year.  We were amazed at his growth in fluency and both the quality and quantity of the writing he was able to produce. He finished the school year at grade level, feeling proud and confident in his work.
Also, she truly makes learning fun! She is intuitive with quickly assessing needs and giving support in creative and positive ways that keeps kids engaged and learning enjoyable!
She is also the kindest teacher and truly cares about your child.
